I have always used either Kaspersky or bitdefender as anti-virus solutions. Antivirus program reviews are available from anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com which sounds like a really dodgy URL but actually looks pretty legit.

Using LaTeX typesetting for equations

Here is a quick howto with LaTeX (for my own use only as I keep forgetting the commands)

Compile the .tex file with "latex sample.tex" once compiled into a DVI (which can be checked) use "dvips sample.dvi" to compile into .ps format.

Then open the .ps file with Paint Shop Pro (use a resolution of 300 at least) or convert to PDF. Copy and paste selected equations out and save them as optimised GIFS (you my want to do without anti-aliasing).

You can now incorporate them into the web site.
