...at least until you tear the tag off. M&S does a fine line in work trousers. Unfortunately they have an 'intelligent' paper label (you know, one you tear off when you decide that it does match your white shirt and brown tie) which is my first encounter (that I know of) with RFID. For those who don't know RFID stands for Radio Frequency ID it's one of the Big Satan's of the privacy obsessed. A pair of scissors and a Dinolite later and we get these:

The chip itself seems to be plugged into a thin metal layer embedded in the paper. So there you have it. The future is now.
